Day 1 Gangtok

Arrival | Gangtok

Upon arriving in Gangtok, embrace the vibrant energy of the capital. Spend your leisure day exploring its bustling markets, savoring local cuisine, and enjoying panoramic views. Engage in the city's cultural charm, setting the tone for an unforgettable Sikkim adventure.

Day 2 Gangtok

Excursion to Tsomgo lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, venture on a captivating excursion to Tsomgo Lake, 40 km from Gangtok, nestled at 3,780 meters. Admire the picturesque Kyongnosla en route. The lake, with its Brahminy ducks and migratory birds, reflects tranquility amidst stunning landscapes. Continue 17 km to Baba Mandir before returning to Gangtok for a restful overnight stay at your hotel. Optionally, explore Nathula, an Indo-China border controlled by the Indian Army, situated 20 km from Tsomgo Lake at 14,140 feet. The journey to Nathula and Baba Mandir is the same initially, splitting at 16 km. A separate charge will be chargeable per cab for Nathula, available between 8 am to 8 pm. Note Nathula's closure on Mondays and Tuesdays, with permits subject to availability through a lottery system. Permit processing takes 72 hours with no refund for confirmed permits if the visit is hindered by unforeseen circumstances.

Day 3 Lachung

Gangtok-Lachung

Post breakfast, commence a picturesque 6.5-hour journey to Lachung. Along the way, marvel at Singhik viewpoint, Seven Sister waterfalls, Naga waterfalls, Bheema waterfalls, and Twin falls. Enjoy a lunch break during the drive. Arrive in Lachung by evening, relishing a delightful dinner at your hotel before a restful overnight stay in this charming destination.

Day 4 Gangtok

Lachung-Yumthang Valley

Embark on an early morning exploration to the enchanting Yumthang Valley, renowned as the "Valley of Flowers." Witness yaks grazing in summer and yetis playing in winter. Pause on the way back to discover a spring with believed medicinal properties. Relish a delectable lunch at the resort before driving back to Gangtok for an overnight stay. Optionally, explore Zero Point, with an additional cost contingent on army permits and weather conditions.

Day 5 Gangtok

Departure

On your departure day from Gangtok, savor a leisurely morning and bid farewell to the city's charm. Take cherished memories of its vibrant markets, cultural richness, and stunning views. Depart with a heart full of experiences and the promise of a return.
